It's Just Peachie Tea

Supplies

2 Louisiana Black Tea 1 qt. pouches (or your favorite black tea)
6 ripe peaches
Strainer
2 qt. pitcher
About 2 qt. of filtered water
2 cups of white granulated sugar
1/2 cup honey

Instructions

Prepare the Peaches:
- Wash and chop the peaches into 1-inch squares (or roughly square-shaped pieces).
Cook the Peaches:
- Add 1/2 qt. of water to a pot and bring to a rapid boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and add the sugar and chopped peaches.
- Let the mixture simmer for about 8 minutes.
Blend the Mixture:
- Add the honey to your blender.
- Pour in the peach and sugar mixture.
- Puree the mixture for about 3 to 4 minutes until smooth.
Strain and Combine:
- Place a strainer over your 2 qt. pitcher.
- Pour the peach puree through the strainer to remove any solids.
- Fill the rest of the pitcher with brewed black tea.
Chill and Serve:
- Refrigerate the peach iced tea for about 30 minutes.
- Serve over ice for a refreshing summer drink!
